Our MISSION
Cultivating young apprentices of men and disciples of Jesus. This was the inspiration the founder received during a late night prayer. Soon, Oikia Learning Center was born in the Linkou district of New Taipei City, Taiwan to teach G3-8 students English using Biblical materials.
Our VISION
Sharing the Gospel while Teaching English
At Oikia Learning Center, we utilize the afterschool hours, winter and summer breaks to systematically teach children English. Through Oikia⁽ᵀᴹ⁾, our faith-integrated English language curriculum, we also share with students the core message of the Bible - God's love and plan of salvation for mankind. We pray that we can connect more with local churches and mission organizations and continue sharing our vision to Teach English for God⁽ᵀᴹ⁾.
Our IMPACT
Oikia⁽ᵀᴹ⁾ levels the playing field for school-aged children by providing them with affordable access to high-quality English education. Many students begin Oikia⁽ᵀᴹ⁾ with limited knowledge of A-Z, but they will walk away with the tools and confidence to read English books that are suited to their levels. Through Oikia⁽ᵀᴹ⁾, children and their families learn about the salvation of Jesus Christ and are integrated into the local faith community. Many lives are transformed by the power and love of God.
